Our third event of 2026 was hosted at the wonderful Damerham Trout Fishery - the original home of the Blue Trout.

Twelve participants attended; 7 young anglers and 5 adults.  All were greeted by fantastic weather and eager instructors.

Our guests spent the day learning how to cast a fly, how to catch a trout, basic entomology, how to prepare a trout for eating and even had a go at fly tying.

Plenty of fish were caught through out the day.

A special mention must go to our fantastic event organiser Richard Leamon and of course all the instructors who give up their valuable time.
